Luvera M. Schwab's Obituary
A funeral service for Luvera M. Schwab, 86 of Heath will be held Friday, February 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Minister Scott Hottinger officiating. Entombment will take place at Newark Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Schwab died Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Selma Markowitz Care Center operated by Hospice of Central Ohio. She was born November 2, 1931 in Lebanon, PA to William and Catherine (Sourwine) Wise.
Luvera was a member of Cox United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She was a wonderful mother and wife. Her number one priority was her family. She participated in all of her children’s activities in school and church. She also provided a cleaning service for several local physician’s offices.
She is survived by children, Roberta (Michael) Welsh of Newark, Kathleen “Kathy” Schwab of New Port Richie, FL, Paulette “Sue”(Charles P.) Smith of Jupiter, FL, Debra L.(James) Greenwood of Hebron, Robert J.(Melisa) Schwab, Jr. of Winston-Salem, NC; son-in-law, Brian Keith of Bixby, OK; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister, Jackie Reist of Quentin, PA; brothers, James Wise of Boise, ID, Harvey (Ann) Wise of Ishpeming, MI; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Robert Schwab, on September 16, 2017; a daughter, Mary Ann Chancey; brother, William (Cookie) Wise; sister, Catherine (Kapp) Smith; two grandsons and one great-grandson.
Calling hours will be observed Thursday February 1, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 West Main Street, Newark.
