Lulu A. Negele's Obituary
A funeral service for Lulu A. Negele, 85 of Newark will be held Saturday May 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Larry Humphrey officiating. Burial will be in Kirkersville Cemetery.
Mrs. Negele died Wednesday April 29, 2015 at her son’s residence where the family had been caring for her. She was born April 13, 1930 in Licking County to Martin and Florence (Johnson) Cramer.
She was employed many years as a cook at the Hebron Elementary School. She enjoyed being outdoors doing yard work, tending to her flowers and garden. She was a wonderful cook and her fudge was outstanding. She was always friendly and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Martin (Patty) Negele of Newark; grandchildren, Jeff Smith of Newark, Todd Negele of Heath, Tammy Negele of Heath, Shane Negele of Illinois, Ryan Negele of Heath, Paul Negele of Newark; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandsons; sister, Bernice Searls of Outville; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Negele, sons, David Negele, Jerry Negele; sisters, Mary Ellen Waldren, Mildred Higgins; brother, Martin Cramer, Jr.
Calling hours will be observed Friday May 1, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Newark Chapel of VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 West Main Street.
