You and your family made a huge impression in my life and I will never forget their kindness and acceptness of me. What a wonderful Christian she was. Dear Family members (my nieces and nephews all) - I met your mother shortly after she became a nurse and enjoyed seeing her as often as we could get to Newark. (We moved around a bit due to your Uncle Bill's schools.)I remember her as always smiling and always so soft spoken with everyone, even when she had all those rambunctious young-uns at her feet. My thoughts and prayers are with the family, Sis. Green was a wonderful example of a christian wife, mother, and saint of God. I have missed her not being in church since she has been gone but, I am glad she has gone to claim her reward for her faithfulness! What a sweet, sweet spirit she posessed and I know our Lord was generous to share her all these years. I know it is hard to give someone you love up but, what a blessing to know they have gone Home to be with our Savior!

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I just found out and was saddened for you. I was introduced to your dear mother and father through Carla when I first began attending church services at God's Acres. Carla was the first friend who ever wanted to pray with me. I'll never forget that. I realize her parents were good examples and taught her to be sensitive to the needs of others. Through that I came to be at their home on Postal Ave. often. They were like surrogate parents to me. Sis. Green was always so gracious and tender. Very Sweet is what I think of her. Your dad married Dan and I. He counseled me and they both treated me as a daughter.
They still hold special memories for me. I didn't hear of Bro. Green's passing until too late as well.
So sorry for your loss, but you have such wonderful memories of wonderful parents.
You'll all be in my prayers for the Lord to comfort and strengthen you.

I will miss you so much! I will miss seeing you at my lunch breaks and bringing you salads and baked potatoes from Wendy's. I will miss seeing you after work and spending the evening with you.
Cameron will miss reading Clifford books with you. Carissa and Courtney will miss coming to visit you after school. Carrie will miss seeing your wonderful hugs and smiles. We had so much fun when you came to our house for supper and when you spent Christmas at our house in 2009. You loved the iced tea and you loved Jeff's cooking!!
Jeff was so glad to have gotten to know you.Jeff spoke many kind words honoring you and our family in a Celebration service in Carrollton. You would have been proud of all your family.
I remember all the sayings you taught us. Such as:"Pretty is as pretty does, "All that glitters is not gold is the story often told","Be careful your face might stay like that","Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Mom you were a fantastic mother. I know you are with dad, your three baby girls, Andy, your grandson, and your great grandson, Samuel.
I will see you and dad in Heaven some day!
