So sorry to hear about Lois. I went to school with her. Prayers are with all of you
Every individual has such an important place to fill and each is unique. Life is so short and seemingly uncertain, but everything happens for a reason. Every Life has an expiration date--none of us ever get out alive. Our job is to make Life count..with no regrets. The hardest part of Life is not for the one who has passed, but for those of us left--who must go on...and make each day count. After all, each day is a Gift, not to be wasted or taken lightly.
We still have clear visions of Lois in her Licking Valley High School band uniform, with trumpet tucked under her arm. Then, taking loving care of her Boxer dogs, as if they were her children.
When a loved one passes, it reminds all of us who remain of our own mortality. From birth, we're in a constant state of fluid transition to another phase, another journey, another experience. Lois left her indelible mark on so many--Family, Friends, Neighbors, Communities, Store Clerks and those she encountered in her healthcare journey. As we deal with grief--and we must; it cannot be escaped; we begin to understand true compassion...and that Life must go on.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Bob and the entire Family...and for those who must continue their journey having learned from Lois Lee. God has a special place in Heaven for such gentle spirits. Her caring smile and gentle voice will linger on into eternity.
My deepest sympathy to the family for your loss.
Bob sorry to hear of the passing of your wife Lois. I remember her when she worked at Park National Bank in Newark, Ohio where my father worked. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and the rest of the family. May GOD comfort you in this difficult time. Ralph & Linda Howard
