NEWARK: A funeral service for Lisa Kay Hicks-Daugherty, 37 of Fostoria will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2014 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Rusk officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.
Lisa died Tuesday February 25, 2014 at the Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findley, Ohio. She was born August 16, 1976 in Newark, Ohio. Lisa was enrolled in the Criminal Justice program at Owens Community College. She was a member of the Foursquare Church, Fostoria. A fan of OSU sports, Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR driver Dale Ernhart, Jr. Her family was very important to her.
Survivors include her fiancée, Michael Sheets of Fostoria; children, Tyler, Sethe and Kaylynn of Fostoria; her mother, Linda (McDonald) and Rod Williams of Newark; father, Steve (Lori) Hicks of Newark; sisters, Rachel Hicks, Nicole Hitchcock both of Newark, Jamie Lindsey of Columbus; paternal grandmother, Sylvia Hicks of Newark; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by a brother, Robyn Hicks; grandfather Billy Hicks; grandparents, Ronald and Carol McDonald.
Friends and family may call 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main St., Newark.
