Linda L. Lake's Obituary
A funeral service for Linda L. Lake, 85 of Newark will be held Monday December 5, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Newark Chapel Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Fullen officiating. Burial will be in Newark Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Lake died Tuesday November 29, 2016 at her daughter’s residence. She was born October 13, 1931 in Pikeville, KY to the late James and Gladys (Sizemore) Ferrell.
She was employed for over 41 years at Dagwood’s Restaurant. She had also been employed by other local restaurants including the Donut Hole, Flannigan’s Diner, L&K, and Frisch’s.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamela K. (Robert W.) Cougill, Debra S. (Raymond Jr.) Miller; grandson, Wesley L. Miller all of Newark; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Lake on September 5, 1986; three sisters, Glema Lavonne Damron, Betty K. Christian and Eula Mae Robinson.
Calling hours will be observed Monday December 5, 2016 from 11 am to 1 pm at the VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME 1850 West Main Street.
