Laura Jean Bailey's Obituary
Laura Jean Bailey, 67, of Galena, Ohio died Saturday morning, June 9, 2018 at Heartland of Westerville in Westerville, Ohio.
Born October 26, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Homer W. McClary and Edith M. (Morris) Johnson of Nashport, Ohio.
Laura was a member of Living Water’s Assembly Church of Columbus and was an avid NASCAR fan, her favorite driver being Kevin Harvick. She also enjoyed baking and crafting.
Surviving in addition to her mother is a son, Roc Johnson of Nashport, a daughter, Toni Johnson-Barch of Gahanna, Ohio; a brother, Larry McClary of Johnstown, Ohio and several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Bailey whom she married February 2, 1982 and who died March 24, 2017; a brother John McClary and her step-father, H. W. "Lucky" Johnson.
There will be no calling hours.
Graveside memorial services will be held at Irville Cemetery at a later date.
