Kenneth D. Clay's Obituary
A memorial service for Kenneth D. “Kenny” Clay, 62 of Newark will be held Saturday September 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating. Calling hours will be observed one hour before the services.
Mr. Clay died Wednesday evening August 15, 2018 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born February 11, 1956 in New Lexington to the late Clyde E. and Mary E. (Nutter) Clay.
He was retired from Goodwill Industries. He enjoyed outdoor grilling. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl (Hutchison) Clay; children, Aaron Clay, Shawn Clay, Lindley (Natasha) Williams, Clarence (Linda) Williams, Ruth Williams (fiancée Scott Verasso), Crystal Noice; sister, Patricia Dusenberry; brother, Steve (Tracy) Clay; grandchildren, Brooklyn Williams, Charles (Alyssa) Huffman, Meghan McCollum, Ashleigh McCollum, Emily Freeze, Arron Freeze, Mercedes Pepping, Harley Pepping; great-grandchildren, Ahlivia and Bryson; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Alan Nutter, David Nutter, Ronald Clay, Bert Clay and grandson, Joseph Williams.
