Kelvin G. Frye's Obituary
Graveside memorial service for Kelvin G. Frye, 56 of Newark will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Frye died Tuesday March 15, 2016 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center operated by Hospice of Central Ohio.
He was born July 2, 1959 in Kenton, Ohio to the late Melvin C. and Kathryn M. (Titus) Frye.
Kelvin was formerly employed at Mom & Dad’s Furniture. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and was a Dale Earnhardt fan. He was also a fan of the Cleveland Browns. He was a former member of the Wrong Way Truckers. He had competed in Street Car racing at National Trails and area Demolition Derbys.
He is survived by his daughters, Kendra Frye and Stephanie Frye both of Frazeysburg; grandson, Preston Burchard; brothers, Rick (Cindy) Frye of Pataskala, Steve (Kelly) Frye of Coshocton, Randy (Kim) Frye of Newark, Scott (Tammy) Frye of Coshocton; step-sister, Esther (Kevin) Wince-Lawyer of Nashport; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Frye.
