Kathleen Zoe Lamb's Obituary
A memorial service for Kathleen Zoe Lamb, 75 of Newark will be held Monday November 27, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lamb died Thursday November 23, 2017 at the Fairfield Medical Center. She was born May 6, 1942 in Newark to Carroll E. and Dorothy A. (Goldner) Harris.
She was employed as a teacher for 21 years with LEADS Head Start Program. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She attended the Bible Temple of God. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and playing computer games. She loved her family most of all.
She is survived by six children, Donald (Helen) Lamb, Jr., Lauri Frost, Penny (Jurgen) Schwamb, George (Reneé) Lamb, Jeffrey Lamb, Becky (Dave) Myers; eight grandchildren, Ashley Lamb, Markus Schwamb, Jeremy Schwamb, Michelle Schwamb, Amanda Stapleton, Misty Stapleton, Daniel Lamb, Cassie Myers; twelve great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; close friends, Clarence & Lulubell Wickliff; and she will be missed by many others that loved her dearly.
Visitation will be observed Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home 1850 West Main Street.
The family requests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
