Joseph J. Wilson's Obituary
Joseph "Joey" J. Wilson, 40, of Newark, Ohio passed away peacefully after a long battle of illness, Saturday afternoon, September 9, 2023 at his home.
Born March 16, 1983 in Coshocton, Ohio he was a son of Jeff and Robin (Stickdorn) Wilson and a 2001 graduate of Licking Valley High School. Joey owned and operated his own business, Wilson Construction LLC for over 18 years. He loved to collect coins, hunt, fish, wood work, and spend time with friends and family. Joey was a member of The Old Country Church.
Surviving are his parents, Jeff (Robin) Wilson of Newark; a brother, Jake (Lindsey) Wilson of Coshocton; a sister, Jenny (JR) Dovenbarger of Newark; very special friends, Kayla Wagner and Lora Dillman; a daughter, Ariyah Wilson of Coshocton; two nieces, Peyton and Leona; four nephews, Bradon, Austin, Gaven and Nox and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Joey was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Sebert and Irene Wilson; maternal grandma, Pat Stickdorn; maternal grandpa, Paul Stickdorn; and two cousins, Jessica Wilson and Shannon Wilson.
Family and friends may call from 3:00-5:00pm, Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil and Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00pm, Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at the funeral home with Pastor Corbin Huffman Officiating.
