I knew Jack as a great guy that helped me in my military career, as a pilot friend of my father’s and as the father of a friend. I’m sure he has passed on to even more fun and adventures!
Donna, Steven, David and Kim... so sorry to learn of Jack's passing. My memories are filled with Jack as an excellent leader and commander and always a gentleman. He was easy to talk with and very understanding, which made serving under his command much easier and a pleasure. His guidance was vital to my career and he always did his best to accommodate my sometimes difficult civilian schedule and personal complications. Jack was the epitome of a team player, which is reflected in his career. Never saw him lose his temper or composure, which is a testament to his steady and positive demeanor. May your memories offer solace during these difficult times.
To the McMahon family: we're so sorry for your loss. Jack was an important figure in our lives. We have fond memories of my time working as a member of his Ohio Air National Guard team in Zanesville. He was very influential in my career. We'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

I’m so sorry for your loss.
He was truly a wonderful person.
My deepest sympathies to you all, Mrs. McMahon-Donna, Steve, David and Kim.
The Colonel will always be remembered.
He was influential in many lives including mine. Many good memories from in school to afterwards including the trip he took three young, just out of high school, fellows to the airport that changed their lives forever. He and I spoke of that journey not too long ago.
May you all find comfort and peace in the days ahead as you reflect on the good times.
Rest in peace Colonel. Jack was a great guy.
