John F. Wheeler, III's Obituary
A funeral mass for John F. Wheeler,III, 52 of Villa Hills, KY will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 107 E. Broadway, Granville with the Rev. Dr. Stephen H. Applegate and Rev. Dr. Ronny Dower officiating. Entombment will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Wheeler died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at his residence. He was born September 12, 1962 in Orange, NJ to John F. Wheeler, II and Joan Iva (Seals) Wheeler.
Mr. Wheeler was employed as an information architect with the Kroger Co. He was a certified scuba diver, a former pilot, and an avid deep sea fisherman. He enjoyed music and going to the opera, traveling, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his mother of Fanwood, New Jersey; wife Katherine A. (Lallathin ) Wheeler; sons, John F. Wheeler, IV, David M. Wheeler; sister, Gwen D’Amico of Brooklyn, NY; mother-in-law, Cynthia Lallathin of Newark, Ohio; father-in-law, Lonnie Lallathin of Frazeysburg,Ohio
He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Beth I. Abella.
Calling hours will be observed Monday, January 19, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Newark chapel of VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME 1850 West Main Street, Newark, Ohio.
