John Robert Suchoski's Obituary
SUCHOSKI, John R., 89 of Newark, OH, formerly of Steubenville, OH passed away July 29th at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born November 16, 1928 in Steubenville to the late Joseph and Bertha (Nevlis) Suchoski. A graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School, Mr. Suchoski honorably served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He spent his career at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and was a life member of Holy Name Cathedral, Steubenville. A devoted husband of over 61 years to Margaret Louise (McConnell) Suchoski; loving father to twins, Lisa (Brad) Smith of Millersport and Jon (Joan) Suchoski of Lewis Center. Preceded by a sister, Patricia Watt; and a brother, Joseph Suchoski. A memorial mass will take place at a later date at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church with Monsignor Paul P. Enke as celebrant. Inurnment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville.
