Joe C. Stone, Sr.'s Obituary
FRAZEYSBURG – Joe C. Stone, Sr., 80, of Nashport, Ohio died Saturday morning, February 12, 2011 at Genesis Morrison House, Zanesville, Ohio.
Born September 19, 1930 in Limestone, Arkansas he was the son of the late Squire and Mattie (Ferrall) Stone and was a retired Millwright at Rockwell International in Heath, Ohio. He enjoyed making bird houses, playing Bingo and gardening.
Surviving are two sons and daughters in-law, Joe C. and Donna Stone, Jr. and Albert C. and Jackie Stone, all of Frazeysburg and a son in-law, John Higgins of Nashport.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Delores (Ross) Stone in 1996; a daughter, Barbara Lynn Higgins in 2007 and a brother, Mitchel Stone.
Calling hours will be 5 to 7pm Wednesday, February 16, 2010 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home.
Memorial funeral services will be at 7:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dan Smith officiating.
