Jo Ann was instrumental in our daughter's selection for and attendance at Buckeye Girls' State in 2001. She was indeed a remarkable woman of the highest integrity and utmost patriotism that I have ever met. She empowered the young women whose lives she touched. I will always remember her kindness. My sincerest condolences to her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Jo Ann and I went to school for 7 of our 12 years. In the early 1950's she lived on Wilson St. where I also lived. She has been remembered by many of her Class of 1959 from Newark High. I was so sorry to see her passing. Prayers and thoughts for her family.
Sorry for your loss, you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
All my love to each of you.
Jo Ann was a good friend and fellow American Legion buddy of my late mother-in-law, Lois Breyer! Saw her often and remember her as a very kind and thoughtful person. Condolences to her family. R.I.P., Jo Ann! Sincerely, Janet Merryman
