Jessie May Berry's Obituary
Jessie May Berry, 84, of Adams Mills, died Thursday evening, January 12, 2023 at The Embassy of Newark.Born February 20, 1938, in Hanover, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Leroy John and Harriet (Levingston) Moran and a 1956 graduate of Union High School. Jessie was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church and the Utica Bowling League. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards.Surviving is her son, Daryl (Amy) Berry of Adams Mills; three grandchildren, Bryce, Haley, Autumn; four great grandchildren, Byrcelynn, Kamren, Kai and Ashton; her identical twin sister, Jean Slone of Newark; a special nephew, Gary (Becky) Berry; four nieces, Brenda, Sharon, Bonnie and Wendy and several great nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph “Junior” Berry, whom died March 18, 2006.Graveside services will be held at a later date. Jessie will be laid to rest next to her husband, Junior at Frazeysburg Cemetery.
