Jennifer Denise Dennis-Myers' Obituary
NEWARK: A funeral service for Jennifer Denise Dennis-Myers, 34 of Newark will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Marne United Methodist Church, 1019 Licking Valley Rd., Newark with Pastor Gus Christo-Baker officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Jennifer passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born July 28, 1976 in Newark to Bill and Glenda (Thorp) Dennis of Newark.
A 1994 graduate of Licking Valley High School, Jennifer was active in marching band, drama, National Honor Society, and she sang in the choir. She enjoyed dance and was active for many years at Patty’s Dance Center. She enjoyed reading, scrapbooking and crafts. She was a faithful participant of Relay for Life. More than anything, she cherished her children and the time she spent with them.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Elva Lois Thorp of Buckeye Lake; her fiancé, James Odle; a son, Collin William Myers; daughters, Ashlynn Anne Myers, Hannah Marie Francis Myers, and Abigail Raye Denise Odle, all of the home; brothers Jason E. (Valerie) Dennis of Frazeysburg, and Jarrod W. (Renee) Dennis of Newark; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather and her paternal grandparents.
Friends may call from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at VENSIL-ORR & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
