Jean M. Knee's Obituary
Funeral services for Jean M. Knee, 95 of Heath will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2023 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with David Linn officiating. Entombment will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be observed from 9:30 a.m. until services.
Jean passed away on Sunday August 20, 2023 at the Inn at Chapel Grove. She was born November 1, 1927 in Galion, OH to Carl P. and Bertha L. (Collins) Gundrum.
She retired from Production Control at the Newark Air Force Base after more than 30 years of service. She was a member of the Heath Church of Christ. She had also been an active member of both the Heath and Hebron Lioness Clubs. She and her husband, Conda, enjoyed traveling and flying in his plane. She enjoyed knitting and doing various other needlework and crafts, baking, bowling, playing cards, fishing and participating in church activities.
Survivors include her sister, Barbara A. Eckstein of Newark; nieces, Judy Eckstein of Newark, Jean Ann (Greg) Howard of Heath; several cousins and special friend, Marilyn Fraunfelter of Newark.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Conda Knee, in 1999.
