Dana, I am Janice's cousin Don Foster. I was saddened to hear the awful news. I can still see Janice and Tip playing in the backyard behind us in my mind. I am so glad I got to see her the last time she was down a couple of years ago.We should all try to stay in touch with loved ones and relatives while we can because we never know what tomorrow brings.I pray that God brings you peace from your grief.
Janice was my sister, and like some siblings we did not always agree, but I loved her. I have always felt that to grow up without siblings was lonely, and Still beleive it. when we share our childhood with each other we see, and value the real person, even though time and years seperate us, we are deeply attached in our hearts.I loved her, and I love my brother, Mickey, there is no stronger tie than having shared the same parents, and memories, good, or bad. As it truly soaks in that she is gone, I hurt more. Dana, I know you are a in a great deal of pain, you were so close to her. I am Janice's first cousin, Vera Foster Bachtel. It has been years since I saw or talked with Janice and I regret that. I remember her fondly; when we were kids, she and I used to play paper dolls and she taught me how to say some words in German. I am so sorry she is gone. I know all too well the pain of a parents passing, We all grow up knowing we will likely outlive our parents, but it is never easy when it actually happens.
