Janet M Ford's Obituary
A graveside service for Janet M. Ford, 82 of Newark will be held Saturday, October 31, 2015 at noon in Newark Memorial Gardens with Pastor Nick Shaw officiating.
Janet died Monday, October 26, 2015 at the Chestnut House. She was born June 13, 1933 in Wabash, Indiana to Frank and Iva Irene (Koughn) Ford.
She is retired from the U.S. State Department after more than 20 years having worked at several U.S. Embassy’s including Africa, India, Russia and Vietnam.
She is survived by her sister, Doris Martin of Newark; fourteen nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Martha Casey, Alice Claphan; brothers, L.W. “Bill” Ford, Donald Ford.
