Janet A.'s Obituary
A funeral service for Janet Ann (Gibboney) Eskins, 52 of Heath will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2016 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating.
Janet died unexpectedly at home Monday, June 13, 2016. She was born August 21, 1963 in Newark to James A. and Gloria L. (Graham) Gibboney of Newark.
Janet was currently employed by Licking Memorial Hospital for the past 15 years. She had an Associate’s Degree from COTC and was a licensed cosmetologist. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and listening to her son Shane’s band. She constructed and maintained a butterfly and flower garden at her home. Janet loved animals, and had a special place in her heart for her new puppy, Reba. She has been a devoted caregiver to her husband following a recent motor vehicle accident.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband of 35 years, Terry Eskins; son, Shane Eskins of Mt. Vernon; step-daughter, Bri Miller of Newark; grandchildren, Trey Eskins, Camron Eskins, Riley Miller and Alana Miller, all of Newark; sisters, Ruth (John) Cooper and Kathleen (Dennis) McCarthy.
Janet was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Ferree.
Friends and family may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2016 at VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main St., Newark.
