Jim and I met at Annarinos Karate School many years ago. We would eat at Friches (old location). I sat with Jim for promotion and George for protection. Jim was a great promoter. He was responsible for one of the best car shows The Hebron Historical Society and Museum ever had. He always called me "The Reverend Mr. Black".
He was the originator of The Lite the Nite Cruise In. What a tremendous success that is. I think the event should be named after him so he will be remembered.
Our condolences to his family.
Joyce and family. We are so sorry for your loss.
We always enjoyed being with you n Jim.
Love and prayers. Sharon n Mike Bowersock
Oh my Dear Big Brother. How I will miss you. I’m so thankful for all the visits we had while I was home. Precious memories.
I cherish the multitude of correspondence we have shared. The lunch dates, funny stories, family memories. They will be in my heart forever. Your Loving Sister. Georgie.
Please accept my condolences. I'm one of the car show followers, for years. All the work that Jim did to have those shows did not go un-noticed. It was a big job! I don't know if these "big " shoes can be filled. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I cannot be there today because of an operation I had yesterday. M y wife forbid me to go out, but I am there in spirit. Jim always called me " Ken, turn the music down, Wilson"
Always appreciated Jim in helping support Happy Apple Days when we had it. Was their to support others.
So sorry to hear of his passing! He was such a great guy and helped with our car shows for C-Tec and the FOP. He will be missed by so many people! RIP Jim.
Jim was a good friend! And a great guy. Will be missed by many!
Jim was a good friend of the Perry family for the car show when Don passed away. Rockwell guys were a good group. So sorry for your loss. Rest in peace. Goodbye Jim.
Joyce, I was so saddened to learn of Jim’s death. What a great guy! I shall miss seeing him at Jolly Pirate where he always gave me a hard time.in jest, of course. And I know that Lite the Nite shall never be the same without his guiding presence. Deepest sympathy to you and the kids. I may have retired but have never forgotten the families like yours that made my job so enjoyable.
With deepest sympathy,
Chris
