Carol Vanderbilt
Dear Holly, Erika and Lora,
I was so sorry to hear about your grandfather’s passing. I lived across the street from your grandparents during my growing up years. I remember how your grandpa loved to golf, and I often saw him practicing his swing in the yard. Didn’t he go to South Carolina every year on a golfing trip? Your grandma was a dear friend of my mother, Mary Kreim, and was at our house the day she passed — she was a great comfort to us. My older sisters were close in age to your mother, spending time together as teenagers. She left this world too soon!
I hope your memories of your grandfather bring you peace.
My deepest condolences.
