Jacquelyn A. Bell Shrock's Obituary
A family gathering will be held Sunday March 5, 2017 for Jacquelyn A. ‘Jackie” Bell Shrock, 70 of Heath.
Jackie died Wednesday February 22, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born September 15, 1946 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Virgil H. and Avis L. (Cowan) Day.
Jackie retired from DCSC in 2001 as a Public Distribution Officer. She had also been employed at the Newark Air Force Base. She was a founding member of the Lake Girls. She was an outstanding dancer. She was instrumental in the removal of electronic speed cameras in Heath and removal of the gas chamber at the Licking County Animal Shelter. She had a deep love of all animals, particularly cats. She devoted her life to her two sons and to caring for all of those she loved.
Survivors include sons, James Patrick Bell and Michael Aaron Bell both of Heath; very dear friends, Sandi Marshall Reitter, Mary J. Holmquist, Dana Griffith Holbrook, April Gillham, JoAnn Clark; many beloved nieces and nephews including Terry Dale Williams, Virginia Sky Williams, Adrienne Gravens,Haydn Swartz, Vicki Richard, Toni Gravens Pickens, Brad Clark, Hannah Harris, Melody Richard, Harmony Richard, Samantha Clark, Aria Szeker, and Allura Mia Szeker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence David Shrock, Jr.; sister, Jerry Ellen Powell.
