I miss him very much
With a smile and a tear, I remember Jack joking with my mom and my dad and Iris. They were all so young and full if life then. God blessed Jack's life with the gift of Iris. My condolences.
great man truly missed he will be missed.
Blessings to your family and friends. Rest in Peace Jack.
My sympathy to the family.
Jeff I know it is hard losing a father but to lose him that way is tough. Thinking of you and your family.
Heartfelt Sympathy to all the family .Jack was a wonderful soul.
Our deepest condolences to Iris and family. Having lived in Brownsville 15 years, I came to know Jack. This man made a lasting impression on me, and my family. I knew that, regardless of the circumstances, I could show up on his doorstep day or night for help and he would be the first out the door to help someone.
Jack was a good, country man. He took a person's word and a handshake would honestly seal a deal. He was always direct and honest; a rare thing nowadays. Jack always waved or said hello as he drove by. What a rare and precious individual Jack was. I valued his friendship and made sure our children knew they could go to him for help.
He had a wonderful sense of humor and a warm and genuine smile. The community lost a man who truly cared about all of us. If we were snowed in, Jack would appear out of the blizzard to make sure you could travel. I simply cannot say how much this man meant to our community. God Bless Jack Hedges.
Iris, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I was able to say hello and see him briefly last month when I was home visiting Mom and Jim. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
So very sorry for the loss of your father Jeff. Give my condolences to the family. Dean Rinehart
