Irene Ann Harney's Obituary
Irene Ann Harney, 62, of Dresden, died Thursday evening, September 16, 2021 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.
Born July 10, 1959 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Lewis “Lee” and Gladys I. (Grimes) Harney and a 1977 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. Irene retired from Babcock and Wilcox Construction Company. She found joy in traveling, camping, her cats and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving is her sister, Lynn (Paul) Murphy of Frazeysburg; two brothers, David (Brenda) Harney and Don (Katie) Harney both of Dresden and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Marvin and Mike; and three sisters, Carol, Jane and Deborah.
No services will be held at this time.
The family is being assisted by the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home.
