Herberta "Herbie" L. Untied's Obituary
Herberta "Herbie" L. Untied, 71, formerly of Frazeysburg, Ohio, died Tuesday evening, February 27, 2024 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton, Ohio.
Born August 20, 1952, in New Orleans, Louisiana, she was a daughter of Shirley J. (Goddard) Untied and the late Elbert L. Untied. Herberta was a 1970 graduate of Heath High School. She spent many years working at the Dairy Queen in Frazeysburg before working at the Frazeysburg Plastic Factory and the Holophane Corporation in Newark. Herberta enjoyed going to garage sales, antiquing, old movies and debating (arguing). Her memory was amazing, even after her stroke.
Surviving is her mother, Shirley J. (Goddard) Untied; son, Jesse (Zack) Ogle of Idaho; daughter, Shawna Sharrock of Newark, Ohio; niece, Cassy "Becky" (Nicholas Bowe) Jesen of Dalton, Ohio; nephew, Curtis Williams of Frazeysburg; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother in-law, Brenda and Michael Williams.
In accordance with Herberta's wishes, a loving cremation will take place followed by a private burial.
