Hazel Marie Harris' Obituary
A funeral service for Hazel Marie Harris, 71 of Newark will be 1:00 p.m. Friday in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Lisa Willey officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Hazel died Friday, March 24, 2015 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She was born April 10, 1943 in Newark to the late Delbert and Pauline (Farabee) Baker. A graduate of Newark High School she worked as a manager for Clark Oil.
Survivors include her son, Rob (Angel) Arnold of Frazeysburg; eight grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Cheryl) Baker of Heath, Ronald (Roxanne) Baker, and Charles (Sherry) Baker, all of Newark; and a sister, Mary Willey of Newark.
In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by brothers, Delbert Baker and Gary Baker.
Friends and family may call 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main St., Newark.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital who took such good care of Hazel.
