H. Joy Crabtree's Obituary
A graveside funeral service for H. Joy Crabtree-Spencer, 75 of Newark will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday December 23, 2017 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Granville with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating.
Joy died Monday December 18, 2017 at her residence. She was born September 12, 1942 in Baltimore, MD to William M. and Nesta (Oliverio) Owings, Sr.
Joy has been employed in several sales positions. Currently she has been associated with the Heath Lowes for the past 13 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Tina (Greg) Goodpasture of Columbus, Tracie (Phil) Claggett of Newark; grandchildren, Brandon (Anne) Davis, Allison (R.C.) Martin, Emily Goodpasture all of Columbus, Spencer Magers, Games Claggett both of Newark; great-grandchildren, George Martin, Norah Martin both of Columbus, William Spencer, Calvin Spencer both of California; brother, William M. (Jimmie) Owings, Jr. of Palm Bay, FL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Spencer; sons, Barkley A. Spencer and William A. Spencer, Jr.
The family requests memorial contributions to the Licking County Humane Society or Catholic Social Services.
