Gregory A. Stewart's Obituary
A memorial service for Gregory A. Stewart, 67 of Granville will be
held at the Shekinah Christian Center, 1281 Liberty Drive, Heath, OH, Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Patricia Abdalla officiating. Burial will take place in Wilson Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
Mr. Stewart died Friday, October 17, 2014 at his residence. He was born February 12, 1947 in Newark to Gene L. and Juanita I. (Satterfield) Stewart.
Greg retired as the office manager at Stewart-Inlow. He was a member of the Shekinah Christian Center. He was a 1965 graduate of Lakewood High School. He served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed flying model airplanes, riding motorcycles and fishing. He played the electric guitar and was in several groups including The Variations.
Survivors include his aunt and uncle, Billie Ray(Frank) Allen of Newark; step-sister, Lori(Randy) Swihart of Heath; sister-in-law, Judith Stewart of Granville; nieces and nephews, Amy Sauer, Randi Stewart, Jason(Renee) Stewart Elissa Swihart, Kaila Swihart, eight great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Wanda Stewart, brother, Randall Stewart and nephew, Bradley Stewart.
A time for family and friends will be held from 6 pm until 7 pm Wednesday October 22, 2014, with Memorial Service following at 7 pm at the Shekinah Christian Center, 1281 Liberty Drive, Heath Ohio.
The family requests memorial in his memory to the church. Envelopes will be available.
