Gabriella & Joshua Hunley's Obituary
Gabriella M. (Gabby) Hunley, 15, and Joshua L. (J. J.) Hunley, Jr., 12, passed away alongside each other on June 18, 2019. They are the children of Luvdisa Provance and Joshua L. Hunley, Sr.
Gabby was born June 17, 2004 in Newark, Ohio. She loved hanging out with her friends and family and she enjoyed playing basketball. Gabby just finished 8th grade and was on her way to high school. She was a sweet, beautiful young lady who was full of life and she and J. J. were taken from us far too soon.
J. J. was born November 22, 2006 in Newark. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends and he loved his brothers and sisters. He liked helping other people and earning spending money by doing little jobs for his neighbors and other folks in the neighborhood. He was not afraid to get his hands dirty. His favorite thing to do was to go fishing. Rain or shine, he loved to fish. He also enjoyed playing basketball. J. J. was going into the 6th grade as a very energetic young man.
Surviving in addition to their parents is a brother and a sister, Tylor and Julie; paternal grandparents, Larry Hunley and Barbara Hunley; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Phelps and maternal great grandmother, Tillie Faller. Also surviving are many aunts and uncles, Joshua and Jonnie Grover, Larry Hunley and Sylvia Meisenhelder, Heather Hunley, Glenn Michael and Tanya Hunley, Jake Hunley and Timothea Jaynes, Richard Hunley, Scott Hunley and Jessica Moore, Elizabeth Hunley and many other relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be from 11am to 2pm Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Community Bible Church, 195 West Second Street, Frazeysburg, Ohio.
Funeral services for Gabby and J. J. will be at 2:00pm Monday at the church with Pastor Eric Cooper officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hunley family.
