Fred was a longtime friend. I first met him when he was the supervisor over Litton Instruments used on the F4C aircraft. I remember picking greens (turnip, kale, collard, spinach) from his garden before he retired from NAFS. For the past several years he always brought me a jar of sauerkraut that he and Tom Bishop made. He left a jar on my door step just a few weeks ago and I never got a chance to say thank you.
To Nancy and his children - I share your loss.
So sorry for your loss....Freddie was a really pleasant man and I always enjoyed talking with him. I'm sure the family has many fond memories that will be passed down from generation to generation.
So sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers to Matt and his family
Patty , Mark, Danny and Matt , Carrie and Family So sorry for your loss thoughts and prayers to you all .
Nancy and family sorry to read of Fred's passing. Fred was my section chief when I first hired into NAFB. He always seemed to treat people fair for an honest day's work. May he rest in peace. My prayers are for you and his family that God will give you strength in this difficult time. You will always have the memories to cherish even though he has passed on.
Deepest sympathy to family and friends. I did not know Fred well, but from what I recall, Fred was a "fun guy!"
Thank you for your service to this great country Mr. Bellew.
From one grateful American
God bless the USA.
May God be your strength in this time of sorrow Matthew 5:4 "Happy are those who mourn since they will be comforted."
I will always remember the summers we had at Buckeye Lake! The memories that were made will forever be in my heart. The boat rides, the cookouts, my "favorite" camper that you drove up in from Florida, sitting on the porch while you worked on...well, whatever it was you were working on and me asking every question in there was to ask. I will forever hold these memories in my heart. You were such a great man and you will always be remembered with Love in my heart! God Bless your beautiful soul Fred. RIP
