Fred E. Davis' Obituary
A memorial service for Fred E. Davis, 58 of Newark will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Second Church of Christ, 19 S. Williams Street with Eric Miller officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
Mr. Davis died Wednesday July 25, 2012 at his residence. He was born December 25, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio to the late David Richard and Betty Louise (Specie) Davis.
Mr. Davis was a 34 year employee at Tamarack Dairy. He was a member of Teamsters Local # 413 and served as a union steward. He was a member of the Casual Cruisers and enjoyed restoring cars. He was 1973 graduate of Miffland High School in Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn A. (Barnhart) Davis; son, Travis Jernigan of Del City, OK.; sister Debra (Terry) Nelson of Upper Arlington; brother, David (Laurie) Davis of Pataskala and a large extended family.
