Floyd Wayne Sidle's Obituary
Floyd Wayne Sidle transitioned to glory on January 26th, 2026 at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Born and raised in Toboso, Ohio, Wayne was a hard worker and a provider for his family from a young age. He worked on farms as a young man, ran his own concrete business, drove millions of miles as a truck driver and retired to run his own mechanic shop. The stories he told of his life were filled with adventure, humor, and music. His greatest joy, however, was found in being a husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Myrna Jean Sidle (Grimes), and his three children Robert (Lisa) Sidle, Sharon (David) Talkington, Jeannie (Mike) Zarnosky. Wayne was also blessed with six grandchildren; Jeff and Joe, Rebekah and Rachel, & Noah and Noël.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved siblings; Roy, Dale, Chester, Kenny, Millie, Eleanor, Margie, and Vernie.
Ultimately, Wayne’s hope was always found in his Savior, Jesus Christ. In heaven right now there is a celebration that is sure to be filled with music and yodeling in three part harmony.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Hospice of Central Ohio. Nurses Jenny, Patty, Carolyn, Janet and T as well as every person who helped us care for Wayne as he made his journey home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for charitable donations to be made to Toboso United Methodist Church to help feed our local community in Wayne’s honor. Checks may be made payable to:
