My first glimpse of Anne was when my mother, Annie Elizabeth (Ruble) Deal woke me up early in the morning in the summer of 1941 with Anne in her arms. I was 14 years old and Anne had traveled all night with her parents and 15 year old sister, Helen, from Crystal City, Texas to Lucas, Texas. I had many Nephews but I was thrilled to finally have another Niece. So we were life long buddies, sharing many visits over the years with lots of fond memories. My mother was so pleased to have a grand daughter named after her. What a reunion it Heaven they must be enjoying.

Will, Holly and Ken, and Walter, I am so sorry about Anne's passing. She was the sweetest person and and dear neighbor. Her laugh never failed to brighten my day.
