Elinor E. Harkness' Obituary
HEATH: A Family Graveside Service for Elinor E. Harkness, 85 of Heath will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Zanesville Memorial Park with Rev. Jeff Belt officiating.
Mrs. Harkness died Sunday at the Selma Markowitz Care Center. She was born April 23, 1926 in Zanesville to the late William and Audrey (Allen) Osborne. A long-time member of Heath United Methodist Church, she was also a 60 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Licking Chapter 551. Mrs. Harkness had worked as a secretary for Ohio Power.
Survived by her step-daughters, Arlene K. (Kerry) Brown of Springboro, Diane S. (Dan) DeLawder of Newark, and Trena M. (Mike) Besch of White Lake, MI.; grandchildren, Kyle (Shannon) Brown of Miamisburg, Erin Brown of Cincinnati, Sara (Tom) Joyner of Greenfield, IN., Matt DeLawder of San Diego, CA., Ryan Besch of Atlanta, GA., and Nicole Besch of Indianapolis, IN.; sister in-law, Lorretta Osborne of Zanesville; and two nephews and a niece, Bill, Jim and Julie.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Harkness was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Paul H. Harkness, February 4, 2010; and a brother, David Osborne.
