Earl M. "Tony" Smitley's Obituary
Earl Michael “Tony” Smitley 68, of Dresden, passed away Monday evening, August 2, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital, Newark, Ohio.
Tony was born on February 9, 1953 in Zanesville, a son of the late Earl Charles and Lula Leota (Young) Smitley. He worked for the Village of Dresden and Cass Township for many years.
He is survived by two sisters Mary Pletcher and Virginia “Katie” Millward; two sons, Michael Smitley and Tony Smith; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son; three sisters, Sharon Ann Smitley, Cinda McMillian, and Sheila Stotts; an infant brother and sister, and a nephew Bryan Valentine.
No funeral services will be held, a cremation will take place.
The family is being assisted by the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home.
