Doris F. Muncie's Obituary
A Mass of Christian Burial for Doris F. Muncie, 73 of Pickerington will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leonard Catholic Church, 57 Dorsey Mill Road, Heath, OH with celebrant Rev. Father William Hritsko. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Columbus.
Doris died Saturday August 29, 2015 at her residence. She was born September 28, 1941 in Junction City to the late Stanley J. and Anna Mae Fink.
She was employed thirty years with Chemical Abstracts Service as a chemist. She was a 1963 graduate of St. Mary’s of the Springs and a 1959 graduate of Junction City High School. She enjoyed traveling, completing crossword and jigsaw puzzles and golfing. She was a member of several golf leagues. Her dogs and cats were very special to her. Her greatest love was her family and spending time with them.
She is survived by her sisters, Rita Kelly of Heath, Barb (Ed) Fink of Junction City; brothers, Paul (Joan) Fink and Mike Fink all of New Straitsville; Joe Fink of McConnelsville; sister-in-law, Janice Fink of Rushville; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Muncie; sister, Mary Hinson; brother, Leo Fink.
Calling hours will be observed Tuesday September 1, 2015 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Newark Chapel of VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME 1850 West Main Street, Newark.
