Donald "Bud" Williams' Obituary
A funeral service celebrating the life of Donald “Bud” Williams, 66 of Newark will be 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Cory Campbell and Chaplain Steve Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery.
Bud went home to be with the Lord Tuesday at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born July 24, 1948 in Zanesville to the late Don and Mary (Nelson) Williams. He was a member of Crossroads Christian Church and the former owner of Bud’s Automotive. He was very active at National Trails Raceway where he was an employee, racer and mentor. “Bud Man Racing” was his passion along with his loving family.
Survived by his wife, Maxine (Yost) Williams, whom he married August 20, 1977; son, Garey (Anna) Williams; daughter, Jessica “Nicki” (Tom) Williams; grandchildren, Garrett, Hoss, Hailey, Madi, Graycen, and Spencer; brothers, Mike and Norman; sisters, Donna Sue, Charlotte, and Joy; and a host of friends.
In addition to his parents Bud was preceded in death by a brother, Teddy; and a sister, Jeanie.
Friends and family may call 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2014 at VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
