Donald I Porter's Obituary
Donald I. Porter, 93 of Newark and formerly Delaware, Ohio passed away on Saturday April 14, 2018 at SharonBrooke.
Mr. Porter was born November 16, 1924 in Marion, OH to Arlie Irwin and Rose Christina (Frey) Porter.
Mr. Porter served in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII. He was a self-employed architect and builder. Fishing was his favorite pastime.
He is survived by his children, Karen (Bryan) Hunter of Newark, Gregory L. Porter; grandchildren, Nathan (Amanda) Hunter of Elletsville, IN, Asher (Emily) Hunter of Newark, Josiah (Cassie) Hunter of Pensacola, FL; great-grandchildren, Eli, Ali, Jacob, Silas, Milo, Eden, Abe; sister, June Hall of Granville.
A private family ceremony will take place at a later date.
