Donald "Donnie" Chapman, Jr.'s Obituary
Donald R. “Donnie” Chapman, Jr., 55, of Newark, Ohio died Saturday, August 13, 2022 at his home.
Born June 4, 1967 in Zanesville, Ohio he was the son of Donald R. Chapman, Sr. of Zanesville and the late Barbara A. (McNemar) Chapman. Donnie was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School and a member of The Church of God at God’s Acres in Newark.
Donnie’s father taught him the trade of welding and he was also an experienced tree trimmer, at one time owing his own tree service business. He was also well versed in mechanics and loved working on cars. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing.
Surviving in addition to his father, are his children, Heather (Mary) Chapman, Autumn (Shawn) Lescalleet, Mary “Franki” Chapman and Tyler Von; two sisters, Linda (Greg) Coots and Daphney Binkley (Scott) Hiles and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Little Benny.
There will be no public calling hours or funeral service.
