A memorial service for Diana J. Binckley, 68 of Newark will be held Sunday October 21, 2018 at1:00 p.m. in the Newark Free Will Baptist Church, 37 Westmoor Avenue with Steven Hughes officiating.Diana passed away October 8, 2018 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born April 15, 1950 in Mansfield, OH to Bennett F. and Mary C. (Shuckhart) Eckstein. She was a member of the Newark Free Will Baptist Church and Women’s Group. She had been employed as a clerk at Hill’s Department Store and volunteered at the Licking County Food Pantry.She is survived by her daughter, Leona W. (Bernard Shaw) Binckley of Newark; brothers, Bernard Eckstein of Grove City, William (Theresa) Eckstein of Texas, John (Fran) Eckstein of Delaware, OH, Paul (Shannon) Foreman of Jacksontown; several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leo W. Binckley; son, Dale E. Binckley; sisters, Barbara J. Eckstein, Jeannine C. Eckstein and brother, Bennett Eckstein.
