Delilah M. Cochrane's Obituary
A funeral service for Delilah M. (Brown-Whitt) Cochrane, 94 of Newark will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 at Christian Apostolic Church with Rev. Keith Sjostrand officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.
Mrs. Cochrane died January 10, 2018 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born January 10, 1924 in Elliotsville, KY to the late Ora and Julia (Fields) Brown. She worked at Selby and Williams shoe factories, Kobacker Department Store, Franklin Co. Court of Domestic Relations, Cardinal Apartment Management and retired from RAL Apartment Management in 1999. She was a member of Christian Apostolic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy (Bob) Adkins, Yvonne Sendykar, all of Newark; grandchildren, Tony (Glenna) Adkins, Tim (Amy) Adkins, Tania (Rob) Greene, Michele Neal and J.R. (Rita) Neal; great-grandchildren, Matthew Adkins, Lindsey Adkins, Tyler Adkins, Brandon Adkins, Payton Adkins, Brittnee Greene, Shane Greene, Blake Greene, Amber Montiel, Ashley Lore and Zachary Neal; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by nine siblings, Edward, Joseph, Claude, Paul, Mike, Ollie, Mildred, Eva and Garnetta.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday at the church, 22 N. 23rd Street, Newark, OH .
