Darrell Gene Hensley, of Heath, Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 30, 2021. Darrell was born in Dyersburg, TN on May 8, 1935. He is survived by his “first” (and only) wife of 65 years, Elaine (Croy) Hensley. Read Obituary
Elaine, Christie and Barry we are so sorry for your loss. We have been praying for your family during this time. Darrell was such a wonderful man. He had a heart of gold and a great sense of humor. May you feel God’s peace and presence as you go through this difficult time.

Elaine, Chris & Barry, so sorry to hear of Darrel's passing but know that he is with Jesus right now He and John can spend time talking over old times at Union Station Church while up there. John has been gone 5 years as of 2/14/22 and I miss him still. I know what your are going through now and in the future. If you need someone to talk to, just call. Darrell was a fun guy to be around and will be missed by all who knew him. Just keep looking up and you will see him again some day. Because of the pandemic, I have been staying home to be safe. Dear Elaine: We are so sorry to hear of Darrell's passing. It is a great loss to everyone. Our families have been friends with Darrell and his family for over seventy years. Elaine and Family, Lisa and I are profoundly sorry for your loss. Daryl was a miraculous man, he bettered everyone's life who knew him. He will be sorely missed. Love and prayers to you all.
Darrell hired me to take his corn crop one year. That's how I got to know him. He was a good guy. I especially enjoyed working with his brother John at Owens Corning for several years and who died way to early. My condolences to Darrells family.
What an awesome man! I know he’s in a better place, no more pain and suffering. Wish I could be there. I’m sure him and daddy are having a grand old time. Love, peace and prayers.
