Daniel Grimes was a great neighbor! He would never hesitate to stop and help or lend a hand in getting things done. When we had a snow storm blowing in, he would always break out his snow plow and start plowing it out of the way! He would work it until it was done and no matter how much we insisted that he didnt need to do it he continued to maintained part of our driveway in the summer. We would have deep discussions on politics, religion and family. He helped our kids many times at great sacrifice to himself. He even took one on as if the kid had been his own son.
While I dont recall him being much of a church going guy, he had deep convictions on religion. He recognized the almighty and respected every living thing. He cared about people, animals and especially loved dogs! His last dog (Molly) was his best companion, she was an awesome watch dog for him and would fearlessly protect him and his property!
He was a great friend and a great humanitarian! We love you Dan and you will certainly be missed!
