Daisy Lee Harden's Obituary
A homegoing service celebrating the life of Daisy Lee Harden, 88 of Heath will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Michael A. Noble officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.
Mrs. Harden died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at her home. She was born October 28, 1928 in Abbeville, MS to the late Jim and Clara (McGhee) Shaw. She was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, playing cards and summer vacations with family.
Survivors include her children, Rubbie Lee Stinson, Martha Ann Scott both of Heath, Peggy Jean Harden and Ida Mae Harden both of Newark; grandchildren, Shela (Dana) Croom of Heath, Aretha K. Stinson of Newark, Melina D. Choice, Fred J. Stinson both of Heath, Cynthia Talbert of Canton, OH. , Charmaine (Vincent) Moye of Washington, PA, Cheryl Y. Mathews, Cassandra Y. Jamar both of Heath, Lutricia A. Harden, Lasherrica S. Harden, Christopher M. Kasson all of Newark; 21 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; a brother, Jamie Lee (Dottie) Shaw; and a host of cousins.
Friends and family may visit two hours prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at the church, 383 Washington St., Newark.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio.
