So sorry for your loss
Craig was an outstanding person. He captured the best from those around him because it's what he expected of himself--which he showcased daily. Craig handled handled the many responsibilities levied on him with a grace and professionalism we would all be wise to strive for. It was an absolute pleasure to serve alongside him, and he will be sorely missed by his Knight Owls family. Rest in peace.
Richard and Diane, I’m so sorry to learn of the passing of your dear Craig. There are no words to express it, but please know you and your family are being lifted up into the light.
I got to know Craig as his flight commander while he was stationed at Ramstein. Craig was an absolutely outstanding Airman, and an all around good person. The impact that he has had on our organization (693d Intelligence Support Squadron) and the Air Force as a whole was huge, and it will be a void that we will feel for a long time. He was extremely knowledgeable and always a steadfast professional in everything he did. He will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family in this difficult time.
Craig, you were such a great friend our time in Germany will always be in my heart. Keep smiling Piano man with great love, and loss rest easy friend.
There truly ars no words. I feel like our crew was mors like family than friends, growing up. There is nothing that can ease your pain. Love and prayers to you all. Im a phone call away.
A wonderful human through and through
MSgt West family and friends,
My deepest condolences for a loss such as his. I met Craig back in 2015, although not long of a time period ago he made a huge impact in my life, and countless others.
His larger than life personality, laugh, love for his country, the USAF, family, friends, colleagues, the mission, techno music, travel, fine wine and scotch will always be with me.
He was a teddy bear (Built like Russian Bear as he would say) once you got to know him. And when he let you in, he really let you in. And I thank him for allowing me to be not only his boss but eventually his friend.
I love you and you are dearly missed My West.
Our deepest sympathy to your family.
