Charles "Louie" King's Obituary
Charles “Louie” King, 75 of Nashport died Thursday evening, July 12, 2012 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice, Zanesville.
Born September 2, 1936 in Zanesville to the late Charles R. and Maxine (Sarbaugh) King. Louie was a graduate of Adamsville High School and attended Muskingum College. He had worked as a Superintendent for Peabody Coal Company. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie (Lee) King, whom he married November 1, 1990; children, Randy (Peggy) King, K. Lynn (Lance) Curtis, Jeff (Jacquie) King, all of Adamsville, Alonna (Scott) Hoffman of Newcomerstown; grandchildren, Amanda King of Nashport, Taylor Curtis of Vermont, Darin Ryan, Dustin Ryan, Jacobey King, all of Adamsville, and Kendall Hoffman of Newcomerstown; a brother James (Deloris) King of Benson, AZ; sisters, Peggy (Weldon) Adams of Dresden, Sally (Danny) Bonk of Chesterfield Twp., MI; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special animal friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Lynn King.
Friends may call 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2012 at the DRESDEN CHAPEL of VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 714 Main Street, Dresden.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery, Adamsville.
