Carolyn Gregg's Obituary
A graveside funeral service for W. Carolyn Gregg, 85 of Marion, a former resident of Newark will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday November 16, 2022 at Newark Memorial Gardens with Rev. Peter Borhauer officiating.
Mrs. Gregg passed away Thursday evening at the DeWolfe Senior Living in Marion, OH. She was born February 5, 1937 in Columbus, OH to William J. and Annie N. (LeBay) Whited.
She retired as clerk in admitting / ER at Licking Memorial Hospital with 15 years of service. She was active in the Zerger Hall Senior Euchre Club, Heath Senior Club. She was a former member of Cox United Methodist Church and a graduate of Hilliard High School.
She is survived by her children, Sherri (Ron) Wilson of Caledonia, OH, Joseph (Deborah) Burton of Winterville, GA, Paul (Bernadette) Primmer of Fruitland, FL, Adriene (Jamie) Osborne of Dayton, OH; sister, Gail Sowers; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul E. Primmer, Harold F. Gregg; sisters, Ethel Wolfe, Shirley Coffey, Cledythe Sommers, Pamela Greathouse, Phyllis Molter; son, Lonny Burton; grandchildren, Jeremy Burton, Joseph Burton, Tanya Baddiluca; great-grandson, Darin Gailyn.
